Good Thai fare located right across from the southeast corner of campus. There tend to be two kinds of Thai restaurants, those that add sugar and those that don't. Viet Thai falls into the latter camp. Their level of spiciness is fairly low, so if you like your eyes to water, try asking for a spicier dish. The Pad Thai is a good mix of spicy and nutty.
If you have a large group, they may take some time to get all the orders out, so be prepared to spend some time waiting. Or order some appetizers. The spring rolls are quite good.
The classic desert that everybody tries is the green tea ice cream. It's nice and mellow, but you might try the plum sorbet - it's viciously flavorful.
With the steeple and strange layout, it looks like this used to be a church, with the dining room being one side of the aisle.
