Lion Radio, aka The Lion is the student run radio station out of Penn State. It is located in the HUB, and has been facing serious funding issues heading into the 2006/2007 school year.
A student run radio station has been in operation at Penn State since WDFM went on the air in 1955. In the late 80s, they became WPSU. After WPSU's schedule became increasingly full of National Public Radio content and less student content, WKPS was started in 1995.
